About Us
4th Frodsham (Overton) Scout Group is part of the scouting movement in the United Kingdom.
The Group was formed in 1978 in the old school building at Fiveways in the Overton district of the market town of Frodsham in the county of Cheshire.
We have around 90 young people spread amongst our beaver, cub and scout sections with 10 Adult Leader volunteers running the 3 sections.
The Group Scout Leader (GSL) supported by the Assistant GSL manage the Group and oversee the operation of each section. Beavers, Cubs and Scouts each has its own Section Leader. Each Section Leader is supported by a number of Assistant Leaders. Some sections also have parent helpers and Young Leaders as part of their support team.
The GSL is supported by the Group Executive Committee (the Exec) who oversee the management and development of the Group.
